Planning accessible journeys in Dublin
Start with the vehicle requirements that matter.

Ask for a suitability review
Choose an accessible request and describe the vehicle features you need through the booking enquiry. Include mobility equipment dimensions where relevant, whether a passenger will remain seated in a wheelchair, and the number of companions and bags. Share practical transport requirements rather than diagnoses or medical records.
Confirmation comes before travel
An accessible category is a request for a suitable vehicle. It does not promise a particular ramp, lift, restraint system or vehicle allocation. The team must check specifications, availability and meeting arrangements with you. Do not proceed on the assumption that a generic vehicle listing meets every access requirement.
Airport assistance is a separate arrangement
Assistance inside Dublin Airport is arranged with the airline or the airport’s assistance service. A road transfer request does not book airport assistance. Check the airport’s current guidance and make the arrangements in advance so that the road journey and terminal support fit together.
Prepare the meeting point
Give the full address, accessible entrance and contact details required for the pickup. Ask the team to confirm the meeting instructions and any companion arrangements. If plans change, use the journey reference when contacting support. WAYSZO journey support is not an emergency service.
